A Sip n See for baby twin girls called for some pretty pink flowers with an extra feminine feel. I couldn't help but use the beautiful ruffled garden rose for such an occasion. The arrangements were topped off with lavender and blush colored stock, cream hydrangeas, and bunches of white statice.
Since moving to Fort Worth, Texas in Tarrant County, LHD has had the opportunity to work with Tarrant Dermatology Consultants on several occasions with flowers. On this particular occasion they were hosting a pink and gold cosmetic party. It was an amazing event with beautiful catered food and drinks and the flowers just topped it off. They were the special touch that really added a high class feel to the party.
Yes, this was my own pregnancy announcement to my family when they came to visit us in Texas. Fortunately I had my good friend Natalie to step in as a shooter since I needed to be part of the action. I was 8 weeks pregnant and my family was coming for a visit. I really wanted the response to be documented. We planned to get some family pictures while we were together. I figured that would be the perfect opportunity to drop the big news--during the photo shoot. Each person's response was so priceless. We still joke about Eric on the far left who never breaks his model pose through the whole announcement.

Elegant meets vintage from the shining silver to the crate paper to the lace. The contrast in surfaces proved to be quite complimentary and give a vintage, yet clean and modern feel to it.
Lauren Hickman Design offers styled display and visual design as well as floral and photography. This vintage baby shower had the whole package.
Getting ready to move down south and start working with southern brides. I am going to miss my lovely clients and photographers. I want to give a shout out to Lora Grady for her incredible work!
She has been so inspiring and so fun to work with. Lora was one of the first people who got me pumped to start floral design and she has been such a good friend and business partner since my very own wedding. I don't know what I'll do without her! I just might have to pick up photography once I move. She has been so inspiring and so fun to work with.
This was our last styled shoot together in Utah for this year. We went for a very natural style using materials mostly all from the wild. Besides the babies breath and coral stems, everything was picked by hand from tree branches and thistles. ( They weren't as prickly as I anticipated). Lora really did a great job bringing in the natural landscape to complete the whimsical, free, and gentle feel of the shoot.
Be sure to check out the feature of this shoot on Le Magnifique Blog!
I have had so much fun creating floral crowns this spring! With these tiaras the options are endless! Anna Gleave Photography was a joy to work with on this fun spring orchard shoot. We went for a softer feel with very romantic colors and only a side portion of the crown. The flowers used for this headpiece were white ranunculus and lavender stock. This inspired shoot was featured on The Frosted Petticoat blog. Check out the link to see more and be sure to catch the adorable film.
Emily had beautiful plans for her wedding flowers. She knew she wanted sunflowers and she knew she wanted a touch of cream and soft yellows. The gerbera daisies did the job quite nicely. They came in the perfect colors and the shapes really complimented the sunflowers.
Emily wanted to keep the boutineers simple with babies breath. The groom's was set apart, being larger and fuller than the rest. We used "OT" gypsum (which means overtime). It has larger buds than normal babies breath. It all came together for a very simple, elegant wedding.
