Shelby was so fun to work with. She LOVES flowers, so we got along great. She wanted a smaller but very elegant bouquet. Originally, we talked about doing a bouquet with purples only. Shelby knew she definitely wanted calla lilies, but as we discussed different options we both liked the idea of a white contrast in the bouquet. The flower choices for this bouquet are: Mini Calla Lilies, Premium purple Hydrangea, Israeli Ruscus leaves, and white pixie mini-carnations.

Where do I even begin.... This bouquet was incredible. Heather Ellis invited a floral contribution to one of her photo shoots and she basically gave me free reign. For weeks previous I had been throwing around ideas of a really funky bouquet with lots of berries, shapes, textures and colors. I was looking for an opportunity to create an arrangement like this so I jumped at the chance.
This bouquet will take several views to pick apart all the different components. Easy to notice here is the blue hydrangea, and the orange colored Dahlia. Throughout the bouquet are small Dahlia buds that had not fully bloomed. They gave an extra dimension to the bouquet and it's texture. The pink flowers in this arrangement are Alstromeria with an almost zebra like stripe.
I can't forget one of my favorite pieces of this arrangement, the green almost rubber-like succulent surrounded by many natural berries.
Pictured here, you can see the brain like plant called Coxscomb (celosia) with a furry texture colored pink with yellow edges. The pods are from dried poppies, and don't forget the sunflowers.
I love happy things. I love creating beauty and making something ordinary into a masterpiece.
